The Buzzworthy Non-Contact Thermometer "LANCEGATE" Comes to PLUG IN

The PLUG IN October show will take every precaution against COVID-19 and go ahead as planned, running for three days from October 21 at Hikarie Hall. Through advance web registration, we ask visitors for an emergency contact and expected arrival time, and we will announce guidance to avoid crowding during times likely to be busy, alongside asking all visitors to wear a mask and sanitize their hands. At the entrance, with the cooperation of Mars Co., Ltd., we are introducing the non-contact thermometer "LANCEGATE" to detect visitors with a fever. LANCEGATE combines a thermographic camera that instantly measures a visitor's temperature with a built-in hand-sanitizer dispenser, so visitors can have their temperature checked and sanitize their hands without any contact.

"LANCEGATE": non-contact temperature check, non-contact sanitizer, and AI facial recognition

The device measures temperature in about two seconds, with an accuracy of ±0.3°C. Beyond venues like PLUG IN, its use cases span restaurants, hospitals, schools, customs, offices, and more. Mars Co., Ltd. plans to exhibit in the food and general-goods area of Foyer A, showing rolling-stock items (emergency food stock) and gift-ready food products (small-lot OEM also available).
